Credits are based on actual processing and connected actions, not a fixed charge per message. Arivo reserves an estimate before starting, settles the completed usage, and returns any unused reservation.

Usually uses the fewest credits because it answers without workspace tools.
Model and reasoning
Advanced models and deeper reasoning process more work and can use more credits.
Agentic work
Agent runs include model work plus the steps needed to plan and complete the request.
Workspace actions
Google Docs and Sheets requests can use more credits when they require several reads, writes, or formatting steps.
Images and OCR
Each image must be processed by a multimodal model, so image analysis and text extraction add usage.
In practice: a short answer on a lightweight model generally costs less than a deep-reasoning request that analyzes images and makes several Google Workspace changes. Your usage history records the final credit debit for each completed run.
